Where is Blaze Farm?

Stroll along one of ournature trails– spot the different wildlife and take in the breathtaking views through the meadows and woodland. Watch the lambing in the Springtime and the sheep-shearing in the Summer.
Blaze Farm is free to enter and it's important to us that we keep it that way - but to do so we rely on the sales of food, drinks and ice creams so needless to sayno picnics allowed…!
Coaches are welcome by appointment only.

Where is Stanage Edge?
Stanage Edge, or simply Stanage (from "stone edge") is agritstoneescarpment inthe Peak District, England, famous as a location for climbing. It lies a couple of miles to the north of Hathersage, and the northern part of the edge forms the border between the High Peak of Derbyshire and Sheffield in South Yorkshire.
The Dennis Knoll Walk is a short route in the Peak District that will take you up a portion of the Stanage Edge for some amazing views overlooking the Derwent Valley. While out on the trail, you will pass through the charming Stanage Plantation and climb the moor to the top of the edge before descending the hillside to walk through picturesque farms. This is a great walk to get acquainted with walking along the rocky escarpment without the hassle of a long distance route.
From Stanage Edge the views look towards the Dark and White Peak areas such as:-
1. Kinder Scout, Vale Of Edale, The Great Ridge, Win Hill, Bleaklow, Hope Valley (Dark Peak Area)
2. Sir William Hill, Eyam Moor, Offerton Moor, Chatsworth (White Peak)
